Residents of Aulweg in Pour can observe a remarkable construction progress around the Heyligenstaedt area. The project, led by Wolfgang Lust, promises a green oasis in the middle of the city. The renowned Norwegian architects from Snøhetta have designed high-quality buildings that will soon beautify the cityscape.

Extensive City district planned

The former Heyligenstaedt factory site is being converted into a new urban quarter. In addition to a spacious underground car park, the hotela spa tower, commercial units and a medical centre. Construction is scheduled to be completed in October 2025, with the site growing significantly by then. A special highlight is the planned green facades, which are not only aesthetically pleasing but also offer environmentally friendly benefits.

Sustainable and innovative concepts

The buildings will not only be provided with traditional greenery, but also with innovative green elements. The use of geothermal energy, solar energy and the greening of the roofs contribute to the sustainability of the project. Despite the high construction costs of 60 million euros, financing is secured and Wolfgang Lust is confident that he will be able to stick to the budget.

Unlike other construction projects that are affected by the current challenges, the project on Aulweg remains on track. The first tenants could move in and enjoy the green and sustainable buildings as early as early 2025.
