Chemical industry negotiations: warning strikes announced by unions

The collective bargaining negotiations for the approximately 50,000 employees in the chemical industry are entering their sixth round, with tensions between the unions and the employers. The latest employer offer is well below the inflation rate of the last twelve months, which is causing discontent among employees and works councils.
